How I'm Setting Up for 2024

2024 is literally tomorrow. Woah.

Now let me ask a few deep questions.

Are you ready?

Are you ready to try to become the best version of yourself?

No, this isn't me trying to get you into an MLM or something, but really. Have you thought about how you want next year to look?

Dude and Dudettes. I'll be the first to admit. I suck at consistency and dedication. This year, I'm changing that.

I've never been one for goals or new years resolutions. I used to think they were dumb and a waste of time. This year, I'm trying something new.

I plan on actually getting my crap together and mapping out the coming year.

Here are some things I have done over the past few weeks to set me up. Feel free to comment and tell me how you plan on getting it together this year!

Vision Board

I have never done one of these before. I will say, if you think you can jump right in, think again. Before making a vision board, you do need some idea of where you will be going with your year. What goals or aspirations you have for yourself.

As you see at the bottom, I came up with my own phrase to spark joy into my life as I think about it.

"Inspire yourself" means to take inspiration from others, but still understand, you are an inspiration to yourself. You doing the hard things every day, whether small or large, is inspirational.

Notion

In only very recently discovered Notion and MY GOSH. I'm in love.

I'm a creatively organized person. I've looked for note taking apps to organize my life with for about 2 years. Everything was just too bland for me.

I use Microsoft OneNote for work, but I found that it doesn't sync well between different devices.

I've tried Evernote, as I said before, too bland.

I tried Google Keep. That's really only good for making short lists or sticky note type notes.

Notion is my baby. It's my love language.

EVERYTHING is customizable, (which could be a good or a bad thing).

I've also been using the system to Journal, Meal Plan, hold my Recepies, etc. I'm still exploring.

Google Calender

(I'm not including a screen shot in this so you weirdos don't know where I am)

Google Calender is my life source. I schedule things regarding work, I schedule family appointments, locations where I need to be so my husband knows, and new things that I am going to be implementing this coming year.

I used to use paper planners. I would lose them, or forget them, and I would always want to color code them. That would require lugging around a bunch of highlighters. No thanks.

Not only that, Google Calendar saves you money!

Signing back up for 1Up Fitness Transformation Challenge

For those of you that knew me around 2020, pre-baby, you know I was heavily affiliated with 1Up fitness and was an affiliate with them.

Things happened. As stated above, I'm not wonderful with consistency and dicipline, so I fell off the bandwagon pretty hard.

Luckily, my affiliation is still active, so I plan on hitting it full force this year.

I signed up for the challenge on December 27th and the program starts at the end of January. Free program and a meal plan in one. It's what I need right now.

You will also be seeing a series on my Blog about updates with that challenge as I go through it.

Those are all the steps I have taken so far.

In the near future, I will be putting out a post about the books I am reading to help me along this year and give my honest opinions on them.

Feel free to follow and join me through this wonderful upcoming year:)
